Time to exhibit my geekhood...

If you're looking for a great read and pretty pictures, may I suggest a comic book. And if you do decide to read a comic book, may I suggest reading Y: The Last Man. The story involves the annihilation of every single species on Earth that has the Y chromosome (that means every single male for you less scientifically inclined) by some unknown disease or virus. For some reason though, one young man named Yorick and his pet male capuchin monkey survive. I'm sure many a male has considered this situation, but this series explores so many more other thought provoking effects. I can't even begin to list all the madness this one male goes through. Pick up the books yourself, which are now in trade paperback, and still as an on-going series. Will the human raced be saved? Can Yorick survive the newly risen man-hating Amazons? By the way, New Line Cinema has already optioned this title to turn it into a movie. No superheroes, no amazing special effects, no beefed-up crazy action. Just an amazing story with deep characters, witty converstaion, and topical plotlines. Read this better review and see what all the hoopla is about! READ THIS BOOK!
